How pricing works
No figures here, because no two lines are alike. Here is what builds the number and when it reaches you.
What decides the price
A lining or bursting quote is built from the pipe, not from a rate card. These are the things that move it.
How long the run is, and how deep
Pipe size and what it is made of
How many pits, and what sits on top of them: lawn, driveway or slab
Whether roots or scale have to be cleared first
Whether the pipe still holds its shape
What the quote includes, and what it doesn't
The written quote lists the method, the footage, the pits and what we put back.
Includes: camera footage, cleaning, the liner or new pipe, opening the side connections, final footage
Does not include: new sod or landscaping, a fix to plumbing inside the house, a city permit fee
What happens at the visit
A camera crew runs the line and you can watch the screen. The visit has a set fee, written before the truck rolls. If you hire us for the work, that fee comes off the job. You keep the footage either way.
After hours
The office answers Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. After that the line takes a message, and Natalie calls back first thing. We don't schedule nights and we don't charge a night rate.
When you get the number
The price comes in writing after the camera and before any digging or lining. It is a flat price for the scope on the quote.
If the job changes
A change gets its own line in writing. If the camera finds something new once the pipe is clean, we stop and tell you first. Nothing is added without your OK.
Questions about the number
Can you give a price over the phone?
Not a fair one. A sewer line looks the same from the cleanout, and the footage is what sets the scope. Call for the camera visit, and the number comes in writing after it.
Does the camera visit cost anything?
It has a set fee, written before the truck rolls. If you hire us for the work, the fee comes off the job. You keep the footage.
Is the price a flat price?
Yes, for the scope written on the quote. A change in scope gets its own line, and you agree to it first.
Next step
Get the number in writing
Book the camera visit. The quote follows the footage.
